The BISFed Competition Committee are currently reviewing the proposed teams, pairs and individuals that have qualified for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. The committee were due to unofficially announce the athletes that have qualified on the 15th May however in order to check the information and produce the required documents there has been a slight delay.
The Competition Committee Chair, Dom Tremblay said, ‘We [the committee] are working to ensure the information is accurate and simple to understand for our members. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensue all members have had the opportunity to query the rankings before we produce these documents and a few alterations have put us a little behind schedule. The rankings on the website are now final so we are just making one last thorough check before we distribute the information’.
