World Boccia would like to give all member federations advance notice that the General Assembly will take place in Portugal on Monday 9th October after the Póvoa de Varzim 2023 World Boccia Cup. Thank you to the HOC for their support with this.
The General Assembly is an opportunity for members to put forward their views on how our sport can be improved. At the beginning of June World Boccia will be putting out a call to members for resolutions. That communication will also explain what a resolution is (and isn’t). Resolutions must be received by 4th August. The agenda and papers will then be circulated in September.
The General Assembly will be held at the São Félix Hotel – a short drive from the competition venue. Full details (including costs) will follow, but there are four different packages for attendance:
- Option 1 – For delegates travelling exclusively for the General Assembly and including two nights accommodation and transfers.
- Option 2 – For delegates already attending the Competition and including one additional night accommodation and transfers
- Option 3 – Attendance at the General Assembly only
- Option 4 – Virtual attendance at the General Assembly
