The BISFed Competition Committee can now announce the provisional schedule for the 2018 season. Final details are subject to negotiation with Host Organising Committees and there are 4 events that will be announced shortly.
The season will begin in March at the Regional Open Championships in Ise City, Japan. This will be the first BISFed sanctioned event to take place in Japan and will be their first opportunity to showcase to the boccia world exactly what they are capable of ahead of the 2020 Paralympic Games.
Veteran hosts in Montreal, Povoa, Poznan and Dubai will all once again welcome athlete in 2018 and Chinese Taipei will host their first sanctioned event in Taoyuan in November. The Asian Para Games in Jakarta will see athletes from across Asia descend on Indonesia in October during what is sure to be another busy year for Boccia!
