The Making Boccia Accessible project made its way to Bloemfontein, the capital of Free State in South Africa last week. Participants were taught the basics and sent away with equipment to help encourage more people to get involved with Boccia.
The project is continuing to grow with courses now being held across Africa and America. The next plan for the project is to introduce the game to countries within Asia that don’t currently participate. The Project, that started in 2014, hopes to see the number of boccia ambassadors double during 2016.
